Meet your assistant/driver at the hotel to begin your tour by visiting the slopes of mount Hymettus, famous for its thyme and the well-known thyme honey.

The French author François de Chateaubriand, founder of the Romanticism in the French literature, referred to mount Hymettus in one of his poems,  as the “Violet Mountain” due to the colour of the local thyme, when in blossom,  coronating the Athens city with a violet thyme crown.

On your way, visit the Byzantine Monastery of Kaissariani, a true piece of art, built on the 11^th century with very important and rare frescoes (paintings). Next, drive to the top of the hill, to admire a panoramic view of Athens.

Off you go to the city centre for your honey tasting. Begin your honey seminar, by tasting nine different greek honey varieties, and premium food blends. The honey tasting, is accompanied by greek cheese and sweet / honey delights. Return  to the hotel.
